SensoWeb Moist - for moisture measurement along a paper machine
The measurement of material moisture is of great importance for optimized process control in paper, cardboard and pulp production: e.g. B. to set the appropriate residual moisture for problem-free loading and transfers or to control the dewatering effect of the press. This can also make a positive contribution to reducing energy costs in energy-intensive processes in the press and/or drying group.
Highlights:
Based on proven multi-channel technology, Sensorik Austria offers customers in the paper industry special sensor systems for moisture measurement that can also be used under the harsh environmental conditions:
- Thanks to fiber optics, the sensors can be used practically anywhere in and outside the drying group
- The heavy duty fiber optics with a length of up to 15 m enable the sensor electronics to be positioned in less exposed locations
- Special sensor heads with integrated air purging can also handle high levels of contamination
- Newly developed brackets make it easier to position and align the boom with the sensor head
- The fiber optic concept also allows multiple sensors to be placed across the width of the paper web or even traversal across the paper web!
