TRI²DENT “VIS” & “UV”
The tri²dent sensor can also be equipped for the visible (“vis” from visual) or ultraviolet wavelength range, thus enabling interesting new applications:
Use of low color contrasts
By exploiting the complementary color principle, the tri[I]dent sensor specifically “enhances” color contrasts and so even small color differences can be distinguished. Even if color differentiation is required from a greater working distance, tri²dent “vis” can demonstrate its strengths.
Increased protection against counterfeiting thanks to invisible color nuances
Invisible UV “color” marks are used to mark objects that are subsequently to be identified by UV sensors. The applications range from process control to anti-theft protection and anti-counterfeiting.
tri²dent “vis” enables new concepts to increase security against counterfeiting: thanks to the spectral differentiation, different UV “colors” can be used that cannot be distinguished with conventional sensors (and of course not with the naked eye). This opens up a new dimension of counterfeit protection for high-quality products and applications!
