collisionGuard-EOT - Crane collision protection sensors
Overhead cranes that travel on the same or nearby runway require reliable devices to avoid collisions or distance themselves (overload protection).
Our collision protection sensors have been used successfully for many years in indoor cranes, in ports, on ships and on rail-bound vehicles.
CollisionGuard-EOT offers optimal functional reliability through continuous electronic and optical self-monitoring. If an optical or electronic malfunction occurs, the sensor is deactivated, bringing the crane to a standstill. It can only be restarted once the damage has been remedied.
A system includes two devices, each of which is mounted on a crane bridge and each consists of a transmitter and receiver plus a reflector. Even if one device fails, the opposite device continues to work reliably thanks to the button-based reflector.
